About the Summary:

The Towards the G20 project provides an overview of the Group’s functioning and role within the international legal order and summarises Poland’s aspirations to join the Group. It consists of four components:

  • how the G20 works – an introduction to the Group, its agenda and its role in international affairs;
  • where Poland can build support – a stakeholder map identifying potential partners and areas of common interest;
  • how Poland is seen from abroad – insights from international experts on the strengths and weaknesses of Poland’s G20 ambitions;
  • what comes next – recommendations on how Poland can build a long-term strategy and substantive agenda for engagement with the G20.
